Commercial
Health Check
Know where your Microsoft budget is leaking within a short timeframe
Before you decide to optimize, you want to know if it is worthwhile.
The Commercial Health Check is a compact review of your Microsoft contract and usage that answers three questions: are you paying too much, are you at risk, and where is the greatest room for improvement? Not a process spanning months, but a substantiated answer within a short timeframe.
When was the last time you had someone without a sales interest review your Microsoft contracts?
Most organizations enter into an Enterprise Agreement, CSP contract, or SPLA and only take a serious look at them again when renewal is imminent or an audit is looming. In the meantime, unused licenses, duplicate functionality, and outdated agreements pile up. On average, 30 to 50% of purchased functionality remains unused.
Geltec’s Commercial Health Check is a compact, one-off assessment of your entire Microsoft landscape: licenses, subscriptions, contracts, and cloud usage. Within a short timeframe, you will know exactly where you stand and where you can get money back.

The fastest way to know if there is anything to be gained.
Fixed price, short turnaround time (weeks, not months), no obligation to follow up. If it turns out there is little to gain, that is simply stated in the report
You will receive a response from one of our licensing specialists within one business day. No sales pitch. If there is nothing to gain, we will tell you.
What people ask us.
What is the difference between a Health Check and a full optimization process?
A Health Check is a high-level assessment: it shows where the savings potential and risk lie, with an estimate of the magnitude. An optimization process actually realizes those savings, including a full inventory, an Effective License Position, and implementation. The Health Check takes four weeks, an optimization process four to six.
What do you need from us?
Your Microsoft contract documentation, an export of your license assignments from the Microsoft 365 admin center or Azure, your most recent invoices, and a two-hour session with your license or contract manager. Furthermore, no involvement from your team is required; we do not install any software in your environment.
What if there turns out to be hardly any savings potential?
In that case, that is stated in the report, and we advise against pursuing a course of action. That is the consequence of working independently: we do not sell licenses and have no interest in a follow-up assignment that yields no results. A substantiated confirmation that your contract is sound is also a positive outcome and justifiable to your CFO.
